About Me
“I just want to make beautiful things even if nobody cares”
- Saul Bass
Hi, I’m Liam, a Brisbane based designer, photographer, and communications all rounder with a love for clear, thoughtful design and working in purpose driven teams. I have over six years’ experience in education based marketing and design, including a long standing role at The Knox School where I developed and protected the school’s brand across everything from enrolment campaigns and digital content to major community events and publications.
While at Knox, I led design and rollout of key projects like the Schoolbox LMS interface, a weekly HTML email newsletter (which replaced a printed version), a personalised prospectus with built in automation, and a full website redesign. I also managed the purchase and maintenance of the school’s Ricoh digital print press, which meant I was just as comfortable on the tools as I was behind the screen.
Outside of education, I’ve also worked in operational roles within global logistics, where I sharpened my project coordination and system skills and I’ve always kept busy with photography, freelance design work, and self initiated creative projects. Whether it’s a prospectus, a poster, or a full campaign, I love producing work that feels genuine, engaging, and easy to understand.
I’m currently looking to bring my design and communication skills back into the forefront, where I can contribute meaningfully to storytelling, connection, and celebration.
